Who can participate in Youth Learn 2 Play Hockey Classes?

Anyone who is interested in learning how to play Ice Hockey 

Participants must be able to Ice Skate

or

Passed through our Learn 2 Skate program

Previously played and looking to get back into the sport

Currently participates in Youth Hockey looking to improve your skills and knowledge

What is included in the Youth Learn 2 Play Hockey Class?

New Participants receive a Youth Learn 2 Play Jersey 

Participants receive a 50% discount on Public Stick n Puck

Participants receive FREE Public Skating Admission to any public skate during the YL2P class duration

What will you be learning in Youth Learn 2 Play Hockey Class?

Skating Skills - Edge Work + Stride + Route Running

Stick Skills - Stick Handling + Passing + Shooting

Games - Game Situational Drills + Small Area Games 

Systems & Concepts - Offensive + Neutral + Defensive Zones

Rules - Knowledge + Situational Hockey

Spring League Information

ICE at The Parks would like to welcome all of our new and returning hockey families to our BRAND NEW 2023 In House Spring League. This spring our staff will really be focusing on player development in small areas. The game of hockey is always trending towards more offense and by playing cross-ice games players will be focused on creating space in small areas as well as helping with quicker decision making. Players will touch the puck more often making them more comfortable playing the overall game. We look forward to offering a fun and player development friendly environment.

·         Roster Size 6 - 10 Skaters / 1 Goalie

·         Cross Ice Games 

·         2 - 24 Minute Periods

·         1.5 Minute Shifts (Buzzer) 

12U + 14U Division 

·         3 Teams

·         Roster Size 6 - 10 Skaters / 1 Goalie 

·         3 on 3

·         Cross Ice Games 

·         2 - 24 Minute Periods

·         1.5 Minute Shifts (Buzzer) 

18U Division 

·         3 Teams

·         Roster Size 6 - 10 Skaters / 1 Goalie

Spring Players Fees

$400 per Player + USA Hockey Number 

$250 per Goalie + USA Hockey Number

1.      $100 - Deposit due @ Registration 

2.      $150 - 1st Payment (4/5/2023)

3.      $150 - 2nd Payment (5/3/2023)

Dallas Stars Little Rookies Program

Try Hockey for Free! 

The Dallas Stars are dedicated to helping grow hockey in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. The Little Rookies program is designed to give everyone the opportunity to try hockey for FREE! The Dallas Stars offer this program here at ICE at THE PARKS in the PARKS MALL in Arlington, Texas. This is a 5-week class, where players will be fitted with hockey gear and taught how to properly get dressed from helmet to skates. Class will be 30 minutes on Saturdays from 2:30PM-3:00 PM. Players will hold onto their hockey gear all 5 weeks of class and turn it back in after the final class. The Final Class is Graduation Day! After class we meet in our Party Room and hold a small graduation ceremony for all the players as they receive their diploma, Mike Modano Book, and will keep their Little Rookies jersey!
